   I ordered these stools to go with the vintner high dining table that I bought from another website. They are a perfect match! I was delighted with the quality, too. Very sturdy and surprisingly comfortable for a chair with no back. They are hand-distressed - no lumps and bumps - just pretty distress marks in the finish. They seem to have a lot of laquer and are not rough at all. Mine are sitting on tile, but if your floor scratches easily you may want to put some felt pads on the bottom. The bottom of my table is white and the top is the same color as the stools, so the stools stand out against the white bottom of the table and the whole thing just looks great.

   These were very disappointing. The pilot holes that were drilled for the cams were much too large and compromised the strength of the stool. One of these came with broken wood and the other had chipped wood. Clearly these were not going to stand the test of time. Save your money and try another brand.
